1. About BOSOM

BOSOM Pte. Ltd. (“BOSOM”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a digital platform that connects users with independent lactation consultants and mental health professionals (“Providers”).

BOSOM is a technology and marketplace platform only. BOSOM curates and onboards qualified Providers and aims to maintain a high standard of care on the Platform. However, BOSOM does not itself provide medical, clinical, or healthcare services; and all services are delivered independently by Providers.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BOSOM platform, website, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.


3. Eligibility

To use the Platform you must:

  • be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent where applicable);
  • have legal capacity under Singapore law;
  • provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Platform; and
  • do so in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Platform Role & Disclaimer

4.1 No Medical Services by BOSOM

BOSOM does not:

  • provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
  • establish a practitioner–patient relationship between BOSOM and its users.

BOSOM facilitates access to Providers but does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4.2 Independent Providers

BOSOM takes reasonable steps to conduct credential, registration, identity, qualification, reference, or background checks at its discretion. However, BOSOM does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or ongoing validity of information provided by Providers.

All services are provided directly by independent Providers, who are primarily responsible, subject to applicable law, for their professional services. Providers are solely responsible for the care and services they deliver.

4.3 No Guarantee of Outcomes

BOSOM does not guarantee

  • service outcomes,
  • Provider availability, or
  • suitability of any Provider for a user’s needs.

Outcomes may vary depending on individual circumstances.


5. Booking & Services

5.1 Booking

  • Users may book sessions with Providers through the Platform.
  • All bookings are subject to Provider availability.
  • A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of payment (if applicable).

For virtual sessions, users are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and appropriate environment. Users acknowledge that services may be delivered through video conferencing or other electronic means. Electronic communications may be subject to technical limitations,interruptions, delays, security risks, or unauthorised access despite reasonable safeguards.

5.2 Provider Responsibility

Providers are responsible for

  • determining suitability of services,
  • complying with professional and legal obligations, and
  • delivering services safely and competently.

5.3 User Responsibility

  • Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to the services sought. Failure to disclose relevant health, medical, psychological, or safety information may affect the quality, suitability, or effectiveness of services provided.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities occurring under their account. Users must promptly notify BOSOM of any suspected unauthorised access.

6. Fees & Payments

6.1 Fees

Fees are displayed at the time of booking and may vary by Provider, profession, qualification, session type, or timing.

6.2 Payments

  • Payments are processed via third-party payment providers.
  • By making abooking, you agree to pay all applicable fees.
  • BOSOM collects payments on behalf of Providers and retains a platform fee.

6.3 Surcharges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • weekend sessions;
  • after-hours sessions;
  • public holidays.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1 Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Clients may cancel appointments subject to the following conditions:

  • More than 24 hours before the appointment:
    Full refund or free rescheduling.
  • Within 24 hours before the appointment:
    50% refund.
  • Less than 12 hours before the appointment:
    No refund.
  • No-shows:
    Clients who do not attend their appointment or arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled start time without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

7.2 Refunds

Refunds will be processed in accordance with the timing of cancellation:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).
  • Platform/service fees (if applicable) are non-refundable unless required by law.

7.3 Exceptions

BOSOM may, in its discretion, make exceptions in cases of genuine emergency or extenuating circumstances such as:

  • Medical emergencies;
  • Bereavement; or
  • Other significant unforeseen events

Supporting documentation may be required.

Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.


8. User Conduct

Users must not:

  • misuse the Platform;
  • harass, abuse, or threaten Providers, staff, or other users;
  • provide false or misleading information;
  • attempt to bypass the Platform’s booking or payment systems;
  • attempt to engage Providers outside the Platform to avoid fees;
  • impersonate another person or entity; or
  • interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.

BOSOM reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misconduct or breach of these Terms.


9. Provider Relationship

  • Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of BOSOM.
  • BOSOM does not control how Providers deliver services.

10. Reviews and Feedback

Users may provide reviews or feedback:

  • Reviews must be honest and not defamatory
  • BOSOM reserves the right to remove inappropriate content
  • By submitting content, you grant BOSOM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable licence to use it

11. Health & Emergency Disclaimer

The Platform is not suitable for emergencies.

11.1 The Platform may include health-related services and information. However:

  • BOSOM does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Content on the Platform is for informational purposes only
  • You should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns

11.2 If you believe you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, you should:

  • contact local emergency services immediately, or
  • seek help from a qualified medical professional.

The Platform is designed to support, but not replace, professional medical care.

11.3 Where a Provider reasonably believes there is a serious risk of harm to the User, a child, another individual, or the public, information may be disclosed in accordance with applicable law, professional obligations, and BOSOM'S Privacy Policy.


12. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (excluding Provider content) is owned by or licensed to BOSOM and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written consent.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • BOSOM shall not be liable for:
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
    • Acts, errors, omissions, or services provided by Providers;
    • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from services
    • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • BOSOM’S total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant booking giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BOSOM from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:

  • your use of the Platform;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your interactions with Providers.

15. Suspension & Termination

BOSOM may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform:

  • for breach of these Terms;
  • to comply with legal obligations and/or regulatory authorities;
  • user misuse of the Platform;
  • to protect user safety or platform integrity.

You may stop using the Platform at any time.


16. Privacy

16.1 By using the platform, you authorise BOSOM to share information reasonably necessary for the provision of services with your selected Provider, including booking information, communications, health-related information voluntarily provided by you, and relevant support records.

16.2 Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.


17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be referred to mediation in Singapore. If the dispute is not resolved through mediation within thirty (30) days, the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.


18. Force Majeure

BOSOM shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, telecommunications failures, acts of government, labour disputes, cyberattacks, or other unforeseen events.


19. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate third-party services (e.g., payment processors, video platforms).

BOSOM is not responsible for:

  • The performance or security of third-party services;
  • Any loss arising from their use

20. Changes to Terms

BOSOM will use reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
